Attention all UVM filmmakers! Get ready for the 2nd Annual UVM Film Festival. It will be bigger, better, and more competitive than last year....more information to come, but start working on your projects.

SUBMISSION CRITERIA

Films can be of any subect and genre

We will NOT accept films over 12 mins in length

Entrants must be UVM Students ONLY

We will need 2 copies of each work:
1) a DVD copy of the film for selection purposes
2) a Mini DV or DV NTSC 48 khz quicktime file dragged onto DVD for exhibition

Each should be labeled with your Name, Film title, length, whehter it is DVD or quicktime file. Failure to adhere will result in film not being accepted for contention.

Submissions can be dropped off at the English Department office.

Submission opens: Mon Jan 19th
Submission deadline: Fri March 27th
UVM Film Festival: Friday April 10th

As of now, the award categories are:
-Judge's Award
-Audience Award
-Honorable Mention
-Triple Tech Award for Best Editing, Sound and Lighting

The 2nd Annual UVM Film Festival will be hosted by UVM senior John Lazzaro and a team of FTS students. It will be held in the Grand Maple Ballroom in the Davis Center on Friday April 10th 2009.
